Winnie moved back with her husband and 3 kids, aged 8, 6 and 5 after years overseas.

8 year old Alice comes home from school.

Alice: Mummy, Mummy! Singaporeans' English is really really bad. I mean reeeally bad.

Winne, afraid Alice would pick up on the grammatically incorrect language, urges Alice:

well, speak to them in chinese then.

Alice: But Mummy, their Chinese is Just as Bad!
